I imagine there are several parts of the entire Doctorate program that is nail-biting- but posing for your ERAS Residency Application Photo Requirements doesn’t have to be stressful.

Nhan absolutely killed it with his warm smile and confident posing. This Student Body President knows that application photos are NOT stern mug shots- and a lot of these end up on Google searches when schools and hospitals post them to directories! He wanted a mixture of casual outdoor headshots that showcased the beauty of the Midwestern University Phoenix Campus in the fall, with a couple of white coat and scrub headshots.

And while most professionals recommend Residency Doctors stick to the formal suit or scrubs for the application and stay far away from loud ties and the white coat- it’s worth it to grab a few white coats just for mom and friends. After all that coat represents a whole lot of hours and determination!

“I use a client-centered approach that nurtures self discovery & personal growth. This therapy is suited to individuals moving through life transition periods such as divorce, aging, teens, career changes, brain injury, life style changes, emerging self awareness and addiction recovery. I use traditional talk therapy or a combination of talk therapy and art psychotherapy. Using art works around verbal defense mechanisms and intellectualizing that can stall the therapeutic process. The combination of talk and art therapy works well for clients that have not had good progress in traditional talk therapy or feel that they relapse into old thinking or patterns.

Amazing session last week with Flor Aparicio, a Real Estate Asset Manager, specializing in multifamily real estate. Flor is a part of the renowned Chamberlin + Associates team serving California, Nevada, and Arizona.

She was looking for headshots that showed her personality, strength, and stood out as a personal branding while focusing on her area of expertise: real estate assets like her museum vibe mid-century modern art home. Her home matches Flor, classy and stylish. She is in her element in a beautiful property, ready to take care of clients and get serious work done!

I came by with equipment like large softboxes, my Flashpoint strobes, and Canon cameras with portrait lens and we got some great images in about 30 mins. Flor was fabulously ready with polished hair, professional makeup and a stunning white power suit. There was also an amazing amount of soft, warm, beautiful light glowing in every room that we definitely took advantage of, as well as beautiful lines and art pieces like the commissioned original paintings and an Eames chair for the best portrait accompaniments I have ever seen! I really enjoyed my time at Flor’s home, and just love the portraits we got for her!
